Olongro gold mining site of the Gold Mine Technology company is known for its fine alluvial gold. For metal content concentration, a line of MOD diagram jigs with a fixed-type screen is used. 

On the jig screen, an artificial bed of lead shot is laid. The size of the lead shot is approximately twice bigger than the screen mesh, and the density is close to that of the heavy residue of the refined mineral mix. The shot act as a filtering layer for the metal concentrate. Therefore, the lead bed prevents the flow and loss of fine gold particles.
